Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey. Different methods work for different people and finding the right approach can make all the difference. Whether you're looking to explore deep-rooted patterns, find practical tools for everyday challenges, or strengthen your relationships, I'm here.

I utilize strategies  to help clients recognize how their feelings affect their thoughts, behaviors, and body. Recognizing these connections allows clients to create meaningful change in their lives. Within treatment, recognizing the "why's" helps us figure out the "what's next.”

Psychoanalytic Therapy:

Digging Deep to Understand the Roots of Your Story

This approach is all about exploring the unconscious mind. Think those hidden thoughts, memories, and experiences that shape the way you see the world.

Psychoanalytic therapy goes beyond surface-level symptoms to dig into the deeper "why" behind your behaviors and emotions. It’s like shining a light into the hidden corners of your mind, helping you gain insight into long-standing patterns that might be holding you back. We'll uncover how your past is influencing your present, giving you a chance to rewrite your story with more awareness and self-compassion.

Best for:

  • Exploring the roots of anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges.

  • Understanding patterns in relationships and self-sabotaging behaviors.

  • Diving deep into past experiences to gain a new perspective on your present.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - CBT

Practical Tools for Real-Life Challenges

CBT is the therapy for those who want to get straight to the point by focusing on the here and now, with strategies you can use right away. It’s all about understanding the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. If negative thinking patterns are leaving you stuck or overwhelmed, CBT helps you break the cycle and develop healthier ways of thinking.

In CBT, see me as your coach, guiding you through exercises to challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. Whether you’re working on overcoming anxiety, managing stress, or building self-esteem, CBT equips you with practical skills you can apply to everyday situations.

Best for:

  • Anxiety, depression, and stress management.

  • Challenging negative thinking patterns.

  • Developing healthier habits and coping skills.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy - DBT

Balancing Emotions and Finding Peace

Emotions can feel like a rollercoaster you can’t control. DBT strategies are useful in helping anyone who finds it challenging to manage strong feelings.

DBT blends elements of CBT with mindfulness practices, teaching you how to accept your emotions while finding healthier ways to cope with them. It focuses on four core skills: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. With DBT, you’ll learn how to ride the waves of your emotions without letting them knock you down. It is the balance of accepting yourself as you are and working toward positive change.

Best for:

  • Intense emotions, mood swings, or feeling overwhelmed.

  • Improving relationships and communication skills.

  • Finding healthier ways to cope with distress.

Attachment-Based Therapy

Healing Relationships, Starting with Yourself

Attachment-based therapy is about understanding how your earliest relationships shape the way you connect with others today. Whether you struggle with trust, find yourself repeating relationship patterns, or feel a deep sense of loneliness, this approach helps you explore how those early connections (or disconnections) continue to impact you.

By working through your attachment style and exploring how you learned to relate to others, attachment-based therapy can help you build healthier, more secure relationships. It’s a compassionate, nurturing approach that gives you the tools to understand yourself better and form deeper, more fulfilling connections with the people in your life.

Best for:

  • Relationship challenges and communication issues.

  • Healing from childhood experiences that impact current relationships.

  • Building self-worth and feeling secure in your connections.

Finding the Right Fit for You
The best therapy is the one that meets your unique needs and feels right for you.
If you’re unsure which approach might be the best fit, don’t worry that’s why I'm here. We’ll work together to find a path that feels right, so you can move forward confidently one step at a time.
